Publication Ethics

1️⃣ About Helvetic Press
Helvetic Press is an international publisher of peer-reviewed, fully Open Access (Gold OA) journals and books. We provide a transparent platform for researchers worldwide to share their findings openly and rapidly.
All manuscripts are checked for originality using iThenticate and undergo rigorous peer review by international editors. Our publications serve university researchers, R&D professionals, students, and anyone interested in scientific advancement. By disseminating high-quality research, we aim to support innovation globally.
Helvetic Press operates independently and is not affiliated with any other publishing organization. We are also the DataCite Consortium Lead for DOI registration, ensuring persistent identification of all publications.

2️⃣ Publisher Principles
Helvetic Press is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity, in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
We adhere to the “Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing” (updated September 15, 2022) by COPE, DOAJ, OASPA, and WAME. All authors, reviewers, editors, and associated staff are expected to comply with these ethical principles.
Editorial independence is a cornerstone of our operations; decisions are based solely on academic merit, relevance, and originality, free from external influence by the publisher.

3️⃣ Peer Review Policy
All manuscripts undergo a blinded peer-review process (single- or double-blind) to ensure impartial evaluation.
The Editor-in-Chief performs an initial internal assessment to determine suitability for external review.
Qualified international reviewers evaluate manuscripts on methodology, clarity, accuracy, structure, and significance.
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and provide constructive feedback.
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision with support from associate editors and editorial committees.
Typical review completion takes 4–8 weeks.
Reviewers’ comments are confidential until publication, and all submitted manuscripts remain private. Reviewer score sheets are accessible only to editors; authors receive anonymized feedback.

4️⃣ Author Responsibilities
Authors must:
Ensure all contributors are listed as co-authors and approve the final manuscript.
Submit original work not previously published elsewhere. Self-plagiarism is addressed.
Disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of research data; fabrication, falsification, or manipulation is prohibited.
Obtain appropriate ethical approvals for human or animal research.
Declare the use of AI-assisted technologies (e.g., LLMs, chatbots) in manuscript preparation.
Once an article is accepted, changes to authorship require signed consent from all co-authors.

5️⃣ Special Issues
Special issues are overseen by the Editor-in-Chief and may involve guest editors.
Articles in special issues must meet the same editorial standards as regular papers.
Guest editors’ submissions must undergo independent review and constitute no more than 25% of the issue.
Guest editors are verified and supervised by the editorial board.
